Cheltenham Gin Cocktails

THE CHELTENHAM G&T

INGREDIENTS:

50ml Cheltenham Gin 

100ml Tonic Water

Ice

*We always recommend an unflavoured Indian Tonic Water

METHOD:

Use a nice long glass or even better, a large Spanish-style copa glass with a stem and a big mouth (any decent wine glasses will work for this). Fill the glass right to the top with plenty of ice and pour in your Cheltenham Gin. Top up your glass with Indian tonic water and enjoy!

GARNISH:

A Cheltenham G&T is best garnished with a wedge of fresh lemon or orange.

THE GOLD CUP

INGREDIENTS:

25ml Cheltenham Gin 

25ml Sweet Vermouth

25ml Orange Juice

METHOD:

Add the gin, vermouth and orange juice to a mixing jar and fill with ice. Give it a good stir before straining into a chilled martini glass.

GARNISH:

Add an delicate slice of fresh orange to garnish.

POMEGRANATE GIN FIZZ

INGREDIENTS:

25ml Cheltenham Gin 

50ml Pomegranate Juice

50ml Prosecco

Pomegranate Seeds and Rosemary (To Garnish)

METHOD:

Use a long glass and fill right to the top with plenty of ice. Pour in your Cheltenham Gin and pomegranate juice. Top up your glass prosecco.

GARNISH:

Add a small hand full pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary to garnish.

THE CHELTENHAM NEGRONI

INGREDIENTS:

25ml Cheltenham Gin 

25ml Sweet Vermouth

25ml Campari

METHOD:

Combine all three ingredients into a glass, over ice, giving a few stirs.

GARNISH:

Add a twist of orange zest to garnish.

THE NATIVE RIVER

INGREDIENTS:

25ml Cheltenham Gin 

25ml Cointreau

Splash of Fever Tree Spiced Orange Ginger Ale

METHOD:

Served in a short glass.

Fill your glass with ice. Combine The Cheltenham Gin and Cointreau and pour over ice. Top with the Spiced Orange Ginger Ale.

GARNISH:

To garnish, add a sprig of rosemary and an orange segment.

DON COSSAK

INGREDIENTS:

50ml Cheltenham Gin 

30ml Lemon Juice

10ml Sugar Syrup

20ml Whipped Egg White

Soda Water

METHOD:

Add the gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg whites to a mixing jar and fill with ice. Shake for a 30 seconds or so. Strain into a short glass that has been filled with ice. Top with soda water.

GARNISH:

Add an sprig of thyme to finish off your Don Cossack.

SIZING JOHN

INGREDIENTS:

25ml Cheltenham Gin 

25ml Lime Juice

25ml Sugar Syrup

5 Rasberries

Soda Water

Mint

METHOD:

Add the The Cheltenham Gin, sugar syrup, lime juice, raspberries and mint to a tall glass with a little crushed ice. Muddle together to infuse all the flavours. Top up the glass with soda and more ice if necessary. Give it a few short stirs.

GARNISH:

Serve with a couple of raspberries and a few mint leaves to garnish.

CONEYGREE

INGREDIENTS:

40ml Cheltenham Gin

1/2 Peach, crushed

Soda Water

Thyme

METHOD:

In a short glass muddle together The Cheltenham Gin and crushed peach. Fill the glass with ice and top with soda. Give it a good stir before adding your garnish.

GARNISH:

You can add a slice of peach and a sprig of thyme to garnish.

BOBS WORTH

INGREDIENTS:

50ml Cheltenham Gin 

60ml Blood Orange Juice

Orange Bitters

Indian Tonic Water

Blood Orange (To Garnish)

METHOD:

Use a long glass or even better, a large Spanish-style copa glass with a stem and a big mouth. Fill the glass right to the top with plenty of ice and pour in your Cheltenham Gin and 2/3 dashes of orange bitters. Top up your glass with Indian tonic water and enjoy!

GARNISH:

Add a slice of fresh blood orange to garnish.

THE CHELTENHAM COOLER

INGREDIENTS:

50ml Cheltenham Gin 

100ml Elderflower Tonic Water

1 Lime

Cucumber

Mint

METHOD:

Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in The Cheltenham Gin and as well as the juice of half a lime. Top up with soda.

GARNISH:

To garnish your Cheltenham Cooler, add a few mint leaves, a slice of lime and a ribbon of cucumber.

THE CHELTENHAM MOSCOW MULE

INGREDIENTS:

30ml Cheltenham Gin 

8 mint leaves

1/2 lime juice (fresh)

30ml simple syrup

150ml ginger beer (enough to fill glass)

METHOD:

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves, syrup and lime juice. Add the gin and fill the shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with ginger beer, garnish and enjoy!

GARNISH:

To garnish your Cheltenham Moscow Mule, add a few mint leaves, and a wedge of lime.

THE CHELTENHAM BRAMBLE

INGREDIENTS:

50ml Cheltenham Gin 

30ml lemon juice (fresh)

1 tbsp simple syrup

1tbsp Crème de mûre

METHOD:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Shake until well-chilled. Fill a small tumbler with crushed ice and pour over the shaken mixture. Drizzle the Crème de mûre over the top so that it drizzles down into the glass. Garnish with your lemon slice and blackberries.

GARNISH:

To garnish your Cheltenham Bramble add a lemon slice and a couple of blackberries.
